Hallways:
Housing is certainly the most important aspect of a student residence. What differentiates the Burse from other student residences, is that you not only get a room to sleep in, but also some home life and extras, carried by the residents themselves.
The 87 rooms of the Burse are spread over 6 hallways, which are located in two parts of the building, the main building and the annex. We got the Erdgeschoss with 12 rooms, 10 of them have a view to the Förde and the garden. There are also two mini-communities with three residents each.
The hallway in the Annex (NI) is the biggest one with 19 rooms. The Olymp lies above it with only 9 rooms. It is very calm and intended for exam candidates. The rooms are a bit larger (about 16 square meters) and have a little better equipment.
The main building also has three hallways, called Haupthaus I and II (HI, HII), each with 16 rooms, and the Dach with 9 rooms. There are three showers, some toilets and a large eat-in kitchen on each hall. It is equipped with refrigerators and freezers, oven, stove and microwave, as well as dishes and pots etc. There is also a cable TV.
